QA Level 4 Award in
out of hospital adult Immediate Life Support (RQF)
Intended Audience:
The Qualsafe Level 4 Award in Out of Hospital Adult Immediate Life Support (RQF) is ideal for those who have a responsibility at work, or in community or voluntary activities to provide out of hospital emergency care to patients, such as: event medical providers, emergency ambulance personnel, registered healthcare professionals and those working in specialist roles within the emergency services military.
Overview:
During this 1 day course, learners will develop the necessary skills associated with immediate life support, including: airway management, patient assessment, management of major illness/injury, post-incident procedures, managing the Return of Spontaneous Circulation (RoSC), patient handovers and more.
Entry Requirements:
Learners must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the training.
Learners must have successfully completed the QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (QCF or RQF), Qualsafe Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) or similar qualification, e.g. Associate Ambulance practitioner, IHCD Ambulance Aid or be a registered healthcare professional working in an emergency care or primary care environment.
